Below is the summary of the current mapping ang benchmarking exercise undertaken for the International Professional Managers Association by the NATIONAL ACADEMIC RECOGNITION INFORMATION CENTRE (NARIC) OF THE UNITED KINGDOM, as part of the Quality Assurance Programme of the International Professional Managers Association. Examination Procedure Controlling Bodies
Examination Centers International Professional Managers Association EXAMINATION PAPERS SETTING PROCEDURES The International Professional Managers Association&S Examination papers are set by a team of Examiners. Each Examiner is responsible for the setting of his question paper, the suggested answers and including a Marking Scheme. International Professional Managers Association EXAMS SCRIPTS MARKING PROCEDURES Each Examiner has the responsibility to co-ordinate a team of Qualified Markers responsible for Marking Candidates Scripts. Markers meeting are held, as soon as possible, after the final paper for each examination session, to discuss potential problems and to establish a clear marking strategy. The marking team have no knowledge of the identity of the candidates in the interest of fairness. APPEALS In all circumstances candidates must accept the academic judgment of the International Professional Managers Association on the marked scripts. Circuimstances where, for example, a Candidate receives an absent mark but was present at the examination and a paper was submitted merits an appeal including circumstances that arose from either administrative or operational failings. Appeals should be addressed to the Chairman of the Education Committee.
