Certification in Project Management Program (PMP)

Description

Project management has emerged as the premier solution to today’s organizational challenges. Project managers deliver success by using a structured approach to project planning, scheduling, sourcing, and decision-making and control. Project Management Program is a comprehensive and up-to-date guide to virtually every aspect of managing your project—from initial planning to final review. Focusing on practical application, this program enables you to acquire the concepts and tools you need to plan, manage, and deliver project success.

This program delivers the knowledge, skills, and guidance managers need to lead today’s projects successfully and profitably. You’ll learn how to:

  • Set measurable project objectives and create a practical plan to achieve them
  • Control your project’s schedule, cost and scope
  • Develop the critical skills needed to succeed as a project manager
  • Achieve project objectives with cost-effective estimating and planning techniques
  • Manage relationships effectively and productively across the spectrum of project stakeholders

The Program consists of Fourteen steps designed to cover the essential areas of Project Management needs. Participants will learn about the wonders of new project management techniques. The curriculum includes 72 hours of classroom activities.

Benefits

Project management Program is carefully planned and organized to accomplish a specific (and usually) one-time effort, for example, construct a building or implement a new computer system. Project management program includes developing a project plan, which includes defining project goals and objectives, specifying tasks or how goals will be achieved, what resources are need, and associating budgets and timelines for completion. It also includes implementing the project plan, along with careful controls to stay on the "critical path", that is, to ensure the plan is being managed according to plan. Project management program follows major steps (with various titles for these steps), including feasibility study, project planning, implementation, evaluation and support/maintenance. (Program planning is usually of a broader scope than project planning, but not always.)

The program aims to enhance the skills in project management which are needed in expanding early years of education and professional sector and prepare students to meet the demands of future knowledge acquisition.

Methodology

Project Management Program is unique in its methodology as students will enjoy:

  • Latest concepts shown in one of the best textbook of management (original book is given to each student, latest edition (2007)
  • PowerPoint book for reviewing lectures notes and techniques.
