Home PEQPEntry Requirements

Candidates for the Post Experience Qualifying Programme must have a Masters Degree (MBA or equivalent) or approved Professional qualification. Candidates with a first degree must have significant work experience to support their application.

To qualify as a Certified International Professional Manager (CIPM) candidates must also complete Professional Qualifying Project.

A Professional Qualifying Project of not less than 12,000 words for Fellowship applicants, 10,000 words for Membership applicants and 8,000 words for Associate applicants. The selected project should ideally be related to the business or industry of the student and should be constructed to identify business or organisational problems and their recommended solutions.

Students may decide the period required for the completion of the requirements for certification and licensing. They may, if they wish, complete all case study examinations in one sitting. The Qualifying Project may be submitted for assessment at any time during the period of student registration.

On successful completion of all case studies and project candidates will be awarded their Certification and practising Licence. This licence is valid for one year only. Renewal of the practising Licence is conditional upon the manager fulfilling our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements by attending at least one management related course, seminar or workshop prior to the date for the renewal of their licence. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
