ABSTRACT

The onset of Information Age and the ever increasing role played by a variety of technologies most notably the Internet has transformed the conduct of business including the delivery of educational services in and outside school campuses. The paradigm shift in the conduct of the business now happening in a global scale and the increasing level of automation and computerization in various sectors of the economy particularly in the business community has driven the services sector into updating their way of doing business if only to be competitive – and the academe is not an exception  This scenario demands appropriate curricular offerings and new operational strategies in the delivery of learning modules all the way to the classroom setting, and for some institutions, classrooms has become unnecessary. Amidst limitations both at the institutional, faculty, and student level, there are creative and practical options available to academics if only to response to the needs of the time. This is a challenge and opportunity that academics in the field of business management education have to face if only to prepare the mindset of the students as well as produce graduates or warm bodies responsive to the needs of the industry and the modern world at large.
