Professor N. A. Orcullo, Jr.

Professor Orcullo was born and educated in the Philippines.
His engagement in academics and research involves affiliation with 5 universities/colleges. Currently he serves as a senior faculty at the College of Business Administration (CBA) of De La Salle University-Dasmarinas holding the rank of Full Professor IV. He has previously served as Department Chair, Research Coordinator, and Editor-in-chief of the CBA Research Journal as well as Professorial Chair holder at the College of Business Administration of the University.
He completed his undergraduate degree (BS Agricultural Engineering) and Master in Management at the De La Salle-Araneta University in Metro Manila, Philippines. He obtained his PhD in Commerce (Business Management) as a government-funded scholar at the University of Santo Tomas, the oldest university in the Philippines.
He has previously worked in industry as Research Assistant, Sales Coordinator and as a government officer as Project Engineer and Section Chief for Program/Project Management at the Philippines’ Department of Energy.
Professor Orcullo also served the international community as Consultant to the Thailand-based United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN/ESCAP) under its Regional Energy Development Programme. Likewise, he has served as Research Fellow of the Singapore-based Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS). He has also provided expert services as resource person to a number of projects related to renewable energy under the auspices of the Energy Working Group/Expert Group on New and Renewable Energy Technology (EWG/EGNRET) of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
He has undertaken a number of research and consultancy engagements whose outputs were published in the Philippines and in international publications. His research endeavors enabled him to travel in the Asia Pacific region as resource person/speaker in various workshops, trainings, conferences and similar forum.
He has authored 4 books published in the Philippines and used as reference textbook in major universities in the country. He is engaged in a continuing research endeavors in the area of business management, strategic management, eCommerce/eBusiness, environment management, energy management, renewable energy, and climate change matters.
