Professor Irina Kuzmina
Professor Kuzmina is Head of Business Study, Professor of Economics & Finance Department, Riga International School of Economics & Business Administration (RISEBA)
She graduated from the Yaroslav State University and completed her PhD in Economics from the University of Latvia.
Professor Kuzmina has over twenty year’s industrial experience as a consultant in Accounting & Finance. In education as a lecturer in Financial and Management Accounting, she has international training experience in Bulgaria, Hungary, Denmark and the UK.
Her particular research interests are:
- Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development in Latvia
- International Accounting System
- Key issues of International Accounting Standards introduction into the practice of Latvian enterprises
Professor Kuzmina has constructed the following study courses:
- International Accounting
- Management Accounting
- Pricing
- Corporate Accounting Policy
- International Financial Reporting Standards
All of the above courses are currently delivered to the students of the RISEBA as well as trainees attending courses for accountants advanced qualification training.
